Introduction

This “Privacy Policy” applies to the personal information that malayaninetwork.com processes during providing its networking services. This platform and its services are limited to the users who are born as a malayali or hails from Kerala, India or anyone who could read and write malayalam. The data associated with this platform is solely controlled by Rainverse Private Limited or Rainverse. 

Information collected by us

  1. Personal Information:
          
    • Personal information includes the user’s name, email address, phone number, address, location information, photos etc. Among these information an email ID, password and a user name is mandatory to register your unique account. The rest of the details are of no technical interest to malayalinetwork.com(further referred to as the platform)
  2. Automatically collected technical information
    • Device/Network: We collect certain device and network information when you access the platform. This information includes your IP address, browser details, operating system. We also collect service related, diagnostic, and performance information, including crash reports and performance logs.
    • Approximate Location: We also collect your approximate location based on your IP address. This information is used to provide certain services like “Near me”, to find users, services, products etc. near your approximate geographical location. We use Google’s Map API to calculate and provide such services. This information is shared across Google’s servers and you might want to read Google Maps privacy policy.
    • Content Characteristics: We also detect and collect characteristics and features of photos/videos/audio that fall under your content (user content) to identify censored content using Google Vision services.
    • Inferred Information: We infer your attributes( such as age range and gender) and interests based on the information we have about you. We use inferences to keep the platform safe, for content moderation and filtration.
    • Cookies: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and provide the platform. For instance, we use cookies to remember your language preference, and for security purposes.
